I recently enjoyed a delightful stay at the Stag, where my expectations for a gourmet getaway were met with remarkable culinary innovation. The restaurant, featuring British and Scottish cuisine, was a highlight. I indulged in the imaginative haggis and tatties as a starter, which set a high bar for the main course: Chicken Monterrey. The ambiance was inviting and relaxed, enhanced by the comfort of the lounge, complete with a 92-inch screen TV and a warming gas fire. Breakfast was served promptly, with a thoughtful selection of cereals and a freshly cooked option that was both satisfying and filling. Each meal was a testament to the dedication of the kitchen staff to provide a quality dining experience. I look forward to returning for more culinary explorations.
